Aconite Toxicity Presenting as Electrical Storm: A Diagnostic and Therapeutic Challenge

Aconite is a plant with deceptively beautiful flowers that contain deadly cardiotoxin. toxicity presents often fatal ventricular arrhythmias are refractory to conventional antiarrhythmic medications. An electrical storm (ES) an acute cardiac emergency carries high mortality. We report one such case of aconite presenting ES was managed successfully hemodynamic support, overdrive pacing, and charcoal hemoperfusion high-flux ultrafiltration.
